Jimmy Giuffre and his personal way of understanding music is a perfect vehicle for creativity.There is one aspect of his music that has always captivated me, it's chamber music concept in jazz.An acoustic sound without drum that promotes the use of expressive dynamics.

《Tribute to Jimmy Giuffre》
with Acoustic Band !!
In October 2016, the first album of Emilio Parrilla Acoustic Bans "Tribute to Jimmy Giuffre" will be ready. One of my composition "Kizuna" will be presented in this album. Thanks to the fantastic musicians Julian Sanchez and Bernardo Parrilla; to the engineer Thomas Dippel and to Juanita Giuffre for her generosity.
It was really intensive week in the recording studio and in the rehearsal room.
