S'yo has attained a unique place among the performers of his generation, and his music has been performed by my music has performed by important dutch jazz pioneer musician David Kweksilber; Metropole Orkest w/ Vince Mendoza .
With his large contemporary and international ensemble, S’yo Fang Group, he wants his music to reveal the complex range of human emotions by transforming them into a sound that is both vintage and modern. They have performed in several venue as, Keep an Eye Records 2017 Bimhuis Amsterdam, 2016 Taichung Jazz Festival Taiwan, 2017 So What’s Next Festival Eindhoven. In 2018, The debut album "Lonely Country"of S'yo Fang Octet will be released by Zennez Records (NL) on 21st September; the album release concerts and the premieres of new repertoire will be presented in the Netherlands and France, including Make it Jazz Festival Tilburg and Jazzy Colors Festival Paris.
S'yo Fang Octet received 2019 Sonic Award (small ensemble) from International Society Jazz Arrangers of Composers(ISJAC).
