He received double Master degrees in Composition & Jazz Piano at Rotterdam Conservatorium, and currently lives in The Netherlands, extends his study at Amsterdam Conservatorium.
As a bandleader in S'yo Fang Group, he is known to combine contemporary jazz with modern classical music and the concepts are frequently based around the balance between written music and improvisation (free, indicated). As well as an arranger and composer he has collaborated with soloist, ensemble and companies in the area of jazz, theater, and dance: David Kweksilber, Metropole Orchestra, NSJO, Codarts Contemporary Big Band, CVA Large ensemble, Plugged Live Show, SBBN, Danzamobile, Incubo. As a pianist in jazz, not only play piano in his bands, he also works with Emilio Acoustic Band, Naftule. Moreover, S'yo performs new music composed by contemporary composers.
